Who processes your data

NotifyChat is the controller of your WhatsApp number when you turn on a reminder using an event’s “Remind me on WhatsApp” button. We send reminders on behalf of the event organizer, but we never share your number with them: the organizer only sees aggregate figures.

What we store and why

• Your WhatsApp number or identifier, encrypted, used only to send you reminders for the event you asked about.
• The event, the times you picked, and your browser’s language and time zone, so reminders arrive at the right time.
• Proof of your consent: the message you sent, the date, and the version of the text you saw before sending it.
• If the organizer uses it, a pseudonymized registration ID to measure attendance in aggregate.

Legal basis

Your consent, which you give by sending the activation message (Chilean Law 21.719, art. 12). You can withdraw it at any time.

How long we keep it

We delete your number 30 days after the event ends or after its last message, whichever comes later. Consent records are kept pseudonymized for up to 4 years so we can prove legal compliance.

Your rights

• Reply STOP to cancel reminders for one event, or STOP ALL to cancel everything and delete your contact.
• Reply MY DATA to see what we store.
• For access, correction, deletion, objection, or portability requests, email privacidad@notifychat.com. We reply within 30 days.

Providers and international transfers

We use Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform), Vercel (hosting), and Neon (database), under data processing agreements and contractual clauses for international transfers. Meta keeps messages for up to 30 days.
